About This Spot

Stepping into Antojitos Acatlan feels much like coming home to a cherished neighborhood kitchen, where the pace slows just enough for you to savor each moment. Tucked away in a Brooklyn corner, this Mexican spot offers a cozy retreat filled with warmth, laughter, and the inviting aroma of traditional cooking. It’s a place where familiar faces greet you alongside the comforting hum of daily life, making every visit feel like a shared meal among friends.

The atmosphere is unpretentious and relaxed—a humble space that welcomes both early risers craving a hearty breakfast and those seeking vibrant, soulful flavors any time of day. Everything was delicious as always, the food is full of taste. I love trying new plates every time we come in. The best ones so far are the carne asada tacos or del pastor. This time we tried the quesabirria

Real authentic mexican food. Taste like home cooked food. I have been here a couple of times and they never disappoint. Must try restaurant. The soup is called pancita, the platter chilaquiles with steak and eggs.

Came in for a quick lunch craving, and this little place didn’t disappoint. Food was quick, authentic as can be, and the flavors hit every spot. Will definitely be back!

Guac & chips were tasty. Chicken Quesadilla was excellent. Frozen margarita needs some work… needs a little more liquor and too watery.

Great Mexican food! Hard to find good Mexican food in NYC but this place is awesome. The service was extremely accommodating and hospitable. I forgot I was in NYC :)
